White Oak
(Quercus alba)
Though not always distinguishable from Red Oak, White Oak is considerably more durable, and therefore more expensive. It is commonly used in the same ways as Red Oak, but can also be used in extreme exterior conditions such as boat building.
All hardwoods are kiln dried, and stocked in random lengths from 8' - 16' (odds and evens).
